Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs for HVAC&R system in Oil & Gas, Marine & Offshore Industries
• Apply design knowledge in power distribution, HVAC&R Control Systems, Machineries Ventilation, Damper Control Systems, Electrical Specification and Component Selection.
• Design of MCC/Starter/PLC Control Panel and Power Distribution System.
• Well versed in Instrumentation and PLC selection.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI graphic design.
• Analyse complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions.
• Supervise and lead a team of electrical engineers in Electrical and Instrument design
• Interact with all engineering disciplines, project managers and clients
• Work within company policy as outlined in the company quality manual
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management as needed
• To support operations and sales department on technical matters if necessary
• Ensure that progress schedule all-engineering designs are planned in accordance with contractual requirements
• Ensure that non-conformances are promptly resolved by means of investigation and corrective action

Requirements

• Degree holder of Electrical Engineering or related courses.
• Must possess superior engineering skills.
• Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be familiar with applicables codes, standards and acceptable industry practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Marine Offshore industries or Shipyard
• Similar or related experiences in offshore and marine industry will be an advantage
• Must be AutoCAD proficient and acute with details
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
